Back in Action!

Apologies for the silence, we have been working out a few kinks behind the scenes. We are just about done and will have more details shortly, but wanted to provide an update to let you know we are working hard.

We have decided to NOT pursue the coop with 4H. Mini Makers and the Maker movement are dedicated to learning and using the latest technologies and the best resource available to learn science, technology, arts, engineering, and math in a hands-on environment that is fun and informative. The coop with 4H presented some challenges that hindered this vision and limited our control over our own destiny.

Again, please accept our apologies for the silence, we wanted to get things right before moving forward. We have been very busy evaluating all of our options – finding an insurance agent who can understand us and work with us, ironing out details on forming, etc.

We understand that a few of you have already joined 4H, we have confirmed that you will be eligible for a refund. For those of you who turned in 4H applications at the last meeting, they have been sitting in limbo while this decision was being made – along with your checks.

We are working hard to keep the same ideas and structure as we previously discussed. Thank you for your continued support and we apologize for any inconvenience, but rest assured we have the best of intentions and are working hard towards our shared goals.

More details to follow over the next few days, in the meantime, your feedback is appreciated.

Discovery Sessions – Round II

You read it right, sessions, as in plural.

We are holding two separate sessions of varying skill levels.

Continuing our exploration of circuits, these sessions will explore deeper into some of the components of a circuit and give the kids some hands on experience with a circuit; including soldering their own components into the circuit.

NOTE:  We will not be able to accept walk-ins, registration will be required.   There are only 20 spots available for each session.

We are trying a new registration system, which is integrated into our website – you will receive a ticket after your payment is confirmed.  Please print and bring your ticket(s) with you.

Luckily Jason ordered many extra kits because we had just as many walk-in’s as extra kits ordered! We had a blast and we hope everyone that came today also had a blast! We will keep you all posted this week on when our next discovery session will be. In the meantime you can email us at or use the contact form on the homepage.

Enjoy some behind the scenes photos of the session prep.
